Yesterday, during visiting last client of Kiva’s partner, ‘Kashf foundation’ for Borrower Verification Process. I visited an other Kiva client home, Rizwana Tabasum. Though she was not included in my BV list, I felt fortunate to have a meeting & greeting with this simple lady. Ramish is a development professional with more than three years of demonstrated experience that has been acquired while working with the United Nations and International NGO’s. She received her M.S. in International Development Studies from IQRA University in 2012. After completing her degree, Ramish joined the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) as an intern for their Grass Root Initiative Program (GRIP), also known as One Un Joint Program On Environment. In 2012, Ramish joined BRAC Pakistan, an NGO established by Sir Fazle Hasan Abed in 1972, as the Kiva Coordinator. Ramish has worked with BRAC Pakistan for two years and helped BRAC in implementing and successfully establishing their Kiva program. She has made BRAC Pakistan's Kiva Program successful in moving from a pilot to active stage. In July 2014, she received an Appreciation Certificate from Kiva HQ for her exceptional work as a Kiva Coordinator. She has also worked with United Nations Development Program as Consultant- Financial Researcher and Analyst.
