The Kiva community lost a beloved and influential leader last month. Nicknamed Captain Tony, he was a Review and Translation volunteer, The Mindful Bunch lending team co-captain and lender since 2009. Disheartened by the destruction of the environment caused by the use of traditional wood-burning stoves, he developed his own biofuel prototype that caught the attention of many influential people - including former President Obama. Bosco is providing a cheaper, cleaner, more efficient way to cook in his town, and is cleaning up Rwandan waste in the process.
